today my classmates and i wnt on a fieldtrip to The Carrie Murray Nature Center. The visit was very educational and fun. We cleaned up a stream and walked through a 200 year old farm. We also were introduced to different species of owls and other animals. We learned alot of things today and i would definately want to come back VERY soon!!!
As a landscaper I tend to appreciate beauty that comes from nature. All the different types of species that exist in this amazing place were great to look at. My wife and I visited Maryland to see family but had to stop by this place before we came back home and we are glad we did. It’s obvious that these people care about their jobs and making people understand the importance of animals in their natural habitat and we can’t wait to bring our daughter back on our next trip out!
Just wanted to thank Carrie Murray Nature Center and Mr. Lloyd for a wonderful presentation at our school on Friday, July 29th. The students were very excited about seeing the animals and having the opportunity to ask questions about them. Mr. Lloyd made sure that all of the children had a chance to see the animals up close and to pet his king snake (if they dared!). We look forward to seeing them again! Thanks again from the students and staff at Windsor Hills Elementary/Middle School to the Nature Center, Mr. Lloyd, and to the Hairstons for their continued support of environmental education for the children!
