Faerie Rings and Eco Things
The Carrie Murray Nature Center is partnering
with our friends for our first
Faerie Rings & Eco Things Festival
May 21st, 2011, from 10am-6pm
We are working with Doug Retzler (local artist, festival coordinator, and environmental activist), the Friends of Carrie Murray Nature Center, other park “Friends” groups, Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, and groups to be announced later.
Our goal is to raise funding and awareness for the park and Nature Center by hosting a multi-cultural festival to celebrate spring, eco awareness, art, and everything fairy! We would really like to make this a successful annual event and need you to make that happen!
Some of you have participated in past festivals at the Center like Wild Wings, Fairies & Things, Bug Fest, Fall Harvest Festival, and Earth Day Festival. This event will be on a much grander scale and will take place over a much larger area.
We are looking for vendors who would like to sell
- crafts
- food
- jewelry
- art
- clothing
- plants
- goodies
